Fried Chicken and Waffles. The fried chicken is made to order, de-boned and the skin is left on, so the skin is very crispy and tastes almost like bacon! The waffles are also made to order and homemade and served with maple syrup. I ordered the white rice and beans as a side and they were very freshly made and delicious. As you can see, the portions are large, so plenty for leftovers! Also, my friend ordered the yellow rice with pigeon peas as his side order and it was fantastic, as well. Besides our entrees, we shared the stuffed potato ball, the beef and cheese empanada, and the fried sweet plantains. Everything was delicious, and the owner was extremely nice and very accommodating for my disabled friend. We had a great conversation with the owner and he is a great guy. He gives a lot to charity and feeds a lot of hungry people in need. This is definitely an amazing local business to support!
