Good for basic dishes. Stick to tried and true traditional Chinese dishes and you’ll usually be safe ordering from Empire. I have had occasions when dishes I ordered have been burnt, however, and sometimes the wonton soup is overly salty (and I’m a bit of a saltoholic). So you ARE taking your chances a bit. Most of the time, though, the food is adequate, and passes muster. I deal with it, especially since the restaurant is located about five blocks from my house.
