The history behind the restaurant was intriguing and sitting in real train cabins from the 1800’s a plus! They offer American pub food and have a full bar. We enjoyed the experience!

No surprises here.. We stopped here for an early dinner and the restaurant held no surprises. The food is Bar style and well prepared. We ordered Mushroom Onion and Cheese Quesadilla which was kind of tasteless. This was followed within 2 minutes by our entrees, no time to eat the appetizer. Very poor service. Our order was a Chicken Cobb Salad and 2 house Burgers. All the portions were very large and the Burgers came with Fries and Onion Rings.Okay for a quick bite.

OKTOBERFEST AT VALHALLA CROSSING. Today two friends and I had a delicious Oktoberfest lunch at Valhalla Crossing. Sauerbraten, bratwurst, goulash, potato pancakes, red cabbage and special beer and dessert, were well prepared. We’ll definitely be back for lunch on the regular menu. It has been some time since I was at the Valhalla Station. Several restaurants have been in this location, and this latest incarnation is just as attractive. The bar, installed in the original Valhalla Station Restaurant in the ’70’s, came from the historic Gramatan Hotel in Bronxville,, NY, and is still here. .The fun of Valhalla Crossing is that the restaurant is made up of several railroad cars, and sits next to the tracks where you can see the trains coming through.
