I have been here a number of times in the last few months. You get a lot of meat in your sandwiches. The people who work there are very down home. Sometimes tough to park even though there is a lot.
The bagel choice is more limited in scope than Bagel Boss or Bagel Cafe. However the bagels were fresh and huge. The staff isn’t the most helpful and a little short with customers.
The bagels here are always fresh and sometimes warm, early in the day. Today mine was a little overdone, that’s why I gave it 4 stars. They have an assortment of salads and sandwiches too. The price is reasonable and the staff friendly.
I’ve never eaten in the deli, just gotten their bagels to go, but they are the best bagels I’ve ever had anywhere. I’m from Virginia and get these every time I come to Merrick.
