Traditional 50 year old Italian bakery. Polito’s Bakery is a traditional Italian bakery that has been established for fifty years. How many bakeries operate 24/7 all year long? Polito’s Bakery does, let me explain. In the middle of the night, the bread bakers bake their bread with special care by using a two step process. While in the oven, the bread is lighty steamed to give it inner softness and then fire baked for a beautiful golden crispy crust. My opinion, this bread is quality and the best in town!The bakery opens as early as 6:00 am with the wonderful smell of coffee and fresh danish in the air. The master pastery chefs are busy in the kitchen baking cakes, pies, cookies and pastries. These guys really know how to satisfy an Italians graving for a great cannoli. In addition to all this Italian deliciousness, Timmy O’s Frozen Custard is located inside this wonderful bakery making good old fashioned american premimum ice cream that originated in Coney Island in 1919. This ice cream is made with special frozen custard machines right before your eyes. Timmy O’s Frozen Custard is open April through September and closes for Fall and Winter.
