Surprising!. Cance upon this restaurant and could tell you I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. The cappuccino was amazing. My kids can be a bit picky an they even cleaned off their plates.

Very good Italian…. A nice surprise — a very good Italian restaurant in a town that’s seen better days.Sal and Pepe has been remodeled in a classy way, and the staff is solicitous without being overbearing. Table accommodations were made to those who don’t like two tops, as I do not.Drinks were expertly made, and bread was there immediately, along with the requisite bruscetta. The fried calamari were excellent, and the mussels at another table were very generous. The chicken saltimbocca was good and the whole Bronzino was excellent. Given the look of the place, I thought we’d have to order a pasta to split, but happily, the dishes came with sides of pasta, which was fine. Many of the desserts appear to be frozen and imported, so I opted for the house-made panna cotta, and it was outstanding.Prices were normal for lower Westchester today, $120. for two with tip.I highly recommend Agostino’s.
