Loved Elia Taberna!. My wife and I had a great dinner at Elia Taverna on Saturday night. It’s not fancy, but the food is wonderful and the service was friendly. We loved the grilled calamari – probably the best we’ve every had. No need to drive to Queens for great Greek food. We will be back at Elia soon.
Great Greek Food. I have been only doing take out from this restaurant and the take out is great. So when we finally had a chance to go and sit down at a table, we jumped at the chance. It was great and the selections are wonderful.
One of few good greek around. We enjoyed our meal, they give good portions with big flavor. We had a little bit of everything and we were really happy with all the dishes. This is a fun, loud place for dinner where you will not go home hungry.

Fresh lemons and olive oil. My parents are from a small fishing village in southern Italy and When I first walked in to Elia with my husband I immediately felt at home – the food is so fresh and the essence of lemons and olive oil is everywhere. IMy husband and I had never been to a Greek restaurant and have now decided that it is our all time favorite restaurant. The decor made us feel as if we were in my parents’s hometown, though not Greek a town with many Greek influences. We are taking my father there for his 87th birthday because it will remind him of the fresh swordfish made with olive oil and lemon of his youth. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!!!!
Great food, great service. Really enjoyed our food! Service was great and all the wait staff took turns entertaining my one year old! Now I know why they are #1 in Bronxville.
It’s OK. Granted I have only had take out from Elia Taverna, but both times I was barely satisfied with what I had, once the chicken gyro and the other time the imam. My parents weren’t really impressed with their dishes either. In search of other mediterranean fare, I stumbled upon Turkish Meze in Mamaroneck and have been impressed over and over with their food and would recommend it over Elia Taverna any day.
