First rate place for a burger and beer. Their sandwiches and sides are simply as wonderful as their staple gadgets. Beer choice is various enough to maintain you interested in trying new seasonal alternatives. staff is constantly expert and welcoming. notable local bbq vicinity. it’s small, so count on to wait in case you display up at some point of meal time. exquisite craft beer selection, too.
Always had a memorable meal.. I’ve eaten here a dozen times and the food was always excellent. Wings are great, flavor plus heat and plenty of sauce. The footlong chili dog is an all beef Sabretta loaded with melted cheese and a hearty chili. Top quality toasted bun too, which really makes it. Great value for $3.50! The pulled pork is melt in your mouth, available as a platter or as sliders. I don’t drink beer but they have a rotating selection of craft beers as well as a nice selection of bottled. (There’s also some mead-based drinks which I haven’t tried.) Service has always been top-notch. In nice weather, there’s a small patio out front. All-in-all, when I visit the NY area (I’m from PA) I make an effort to stop by.
Incompetent & Angry. I was a regular patron at SmokeHouse before I saw the darker, angrier side of the owner. This guy has zero people skills and it doesn’t take much to bring the angry out of him. On top of that he hires bartenders with no experience who can’t keep a simple drink order straight in their head. This often leads to overcharges and bad feelings. I would NOT recommend SmokeHouse to anyone, EVER.
