Cool casual sports bar right by water. I enjoyed this place for its local feel. The bartender was nice, he made me a drink I haven’t had since in a long time. NYC seems to have restrictions on what kind of mixed drinks they can make and this bartender made me a Tokyo Tea just like how they make it back home. I haven’t been to a bar a out here where they have all the ingredients to make drinks I really want, let alone make something other than a Long Island. I’ll definitely come back for the chill vibe. It’s nice to feel like you’re not at all in NYC.
The place was a little microcosm and it fits Roosevelt Island. It’s hard to explain until you see it for yourself. As a restaurant it the lacks personality most NYC restaurants have by default, but the service and food it alright. It doubles as a sports bar so factor extra time between your refills. They have Guinness on tap and the grilled cheese and chicken fingers are a go.
