Good not great. Service was nice but slow (with no one there). White bean and tomato spread was awesome. Chicken parm was good, nothing that blew me out of the water, especially for the $14 price tag. But at a casino it’s good. Glad I tried it. Probably won’t be back.

I guess for Verona, NY and in a casino it was just average. Best thing was the ciabatta bread with the white bean and tomato garlic spread. Meatball app was sharing size and was good. I knew I should have passed on the Carbonara; which had peas and sherry. It was in a puddle of a cream sauce. Espresso was not that good either.

Enough already. This place has changed considerably and not for the better. food mediocre, service even when empty-slow. most annoying was being told they serve only premium vodkas which we were told is true of the other restaurants. that only applies at pino.

Remodeled Version. Pino was one of my favorite restaurant. At one point my favorite. So in April, they decided to remodel and add a Pinot pronto for quick service. Firstly, the remodel for the hall leading into the new entrance is the best part. The positive points end there. Everything else has went downhill. Granted I am judging old Pino vs new. Not judging this as a new restaurant. The portions are smaller and the prices have gone up. The riggies have good flavor but the portions are smaller. The greens are good but you can’t get a family size order anymore. They also ruined the family size prices. Before, it was a good deal for 2 people. Now the whole table would have to eat for it to be a deal. They have added new items to the menu. I had the marsala, decent but extremely small amount. The worst part was the booths. Worst seating I have ever sat in. With those prices and atmosphere, probably won’t be back. I guess it will be time to try some of the new restaurants they will open in the summer.03 Nov, 2012Best Greens!. I continuely frequent Pino monthly. The greens are extremely different from any greens you will ever have. They are cooked, I suspect in some kind of chicken broth which gives it a distinct flavor. I would suggest the chicken rigatoni. This is also extremley different than any other chicken riggies you will find. They are very creamy and made with bananna peppers. Overall anything you get from there is bound to be good. The only critque I could say is that it is awful pricy and the specials are never that interesting. I will say the consistency of their dishes is excellent and the portions for family size can really feed up to four people or two grown men with good appetites.
