great flavors and the owner, and his family, are awesome. the only place the two Texans i work with consider real Tex-Mex. there can be some variation, based on the kitchen crew that day, but it’s still the best you’ll find.

Great Food – Place Seems Dirty. I have eaten here quite a few times and the food is consistently good…it is better when the owner is cooking, however. I am a bit concerned that the place doesn’t seem all that clean, I’ve been noticing this more and more in my recent visits. Kind of a turnoff.
On the top of my list when in Utica. Great traditional Tex Mex. I love the ground beef enchilada dinner for lunch. A bit pricy at $10, but well worth the money. Everything is homemade.
One of my all time favorite places to eat. Food is delicious and cooked fresh to order. If you’ve never been you owe it to yourself to try it. Don’t let the humble surroundings fool you this place is top quality.
If Geno (owner) is working, everything is amazing. If he has the day off, the food will be edible, but your order will be wrong, the salsa will be watery and the meat will be fatty. It’s still good, but not amazing.
