The help needs to wake up and smile!. The Village Diner is clean, nicely decorated, and a decent menu. Went for breakfast, and all of the staff there looked like they just woke up. No smiles, no friendly chit-chat; I’ve worked in restaurants myself for years, and the one requirement for breakfast staff is to be friendly. The food was good, prices were good, but I really didn’t feel welcome.
