Fantastic! Some of the best, authentic Italian food we’ve had. From appetizers to deserts – perfect! Stuffed portobello was enormous and perfectly seasoned. Medallions of polenta were fresh and tasty. Deserts were phenomenal. We also enjoyed flatbread, pizza, pasta, and more that were just as wonderful.
I have never had a bad meal at Cosimos, just had dinner there for restaurant week, the restaurant was packed, the service excellent, had a stuffed chicken w/sweet potato wedges, my husband had stuffed lasagna, delicious!
My favorite restaurant! It’s been around for 20 years and the food is fantastic!
Rude staff, bland good and slow service. I do not recommend
They have never failed to make me welcome, food has been consistently good, with plenty of parking. What more could you want?
Great stop for a Thruway drive. When taking long car trips, my wife and I prefer to find good, cheap local eats as opposed to rest-stop grub. Cosimo’s definitely fit the bill. (It’s located about a mile from exit 17.) The dcor was warm and inviting, if a little clich. The wood-fired oven at the entrance telegraphed good things to come, and the granite table tops were a classy touch. The service was fast and friendly: bread arrived at the table very quickly (and, in a nice touch, was accompanied by herbed olive oil and two gigantic green olives), and our server didn’t hesistate at all when we made substitutions on our pizzas. The pizzas themselves were very good, with a deliciously crisp thin crust. The Margherita (with housemade fresh mozzerella subbed in) was great. The Roasted Eggplant was good, but the eggplant slices were a bit tough and the goat cheese didn’t quite match the flavor profile. Although we opted to get back on the road before dessert, the cannolis at the table next to ours looked good.
Very nice Italian place…good food for reasonable price. Also a decent wine selection…I’ll go back when I’m in town again
