Amazing art and murals covering every inch of the building inside and out as well as the menu. Endless chips and salsa, which was bright and fresh. Service was fast and very attentive. Almost all of the items were all least $15 and up but well worth it. Real deal Mexican. I would eat here everyday if I could
Great service and food although a bit spendy ($$$). This place is great. My friends and I stopped here on a road trip. The first thing you notice is the decor. It’s decorated to inside and out with murals everywhere. Even the menu was busy with art. Expect to spend between $15 and $25 per plate here. The food is well worth it. At the end of our meal we were offered free dessert (fried banana with ice cream). Yum. And just as we were going to ask for our check, our waiter asked if we would like a tequila shot on the house. I don’t know if this is customary so I’ll leave out his name, but he gave all four of us a shot of tequila. Service was speedy and staff was nice. The bad review about poor lighting was not my experience at all. This was hands down the best random food stop I’ve made in years. If you find yourself hungry on I-84 near Middletown, it’s definitely worth stopping here.
Authentic, good food. Dinner can be pricey but lunch is a good deal. Great sangria.
Good Mexican food. Nice atmosphere with murals all over the walls. Food is $$$ though.
Horrible. The place is dark and disgustingly dirty hence the reason for the dark rooms. There’s better mexican elsewhere.
El Bandido. Love this place!
