I’ve only been once, for breakfast, but this was a near perfect breakfast cafe dining experience. The breakfast menu has classic fare, with a few special items, but everything was prepared with care. Wish I lived close enough to be a regular. Family friendly, Wifi

I’ve been here for breakfast twice now and been impressed both times! Their pancakes and French toast are delicious. They have a great variety of omelettes, breakfast burritos, and other egg dishes to choose from, too. If you’re having trouble deciding what to get, you can order a pancake or an egg on the side of your main dish. The service is quick and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice, relaxing breakfast!

A novel idea executed well. Hudson Street Cafe is an interesting mix of a fine dining kitchen in a diner setting. The prices skew higher than traditional diner food, but are worth it.My first time there was for dinner, after getting slightly lost on Storm King Mountain. Having spent several hours on the mountain, with no lunch nor water, I came to Hudson Street with an appetite and left fully satiated. Upon hearing how long I had been hiking without water, the waiter left a full pitcher on my table for me. The waiter was well-informed on the menu and was able to provide meaningful recommendations. The meal was properly cooked, and it was obvious that Hudson Street Cafe uses high quality ingredients. There were some nice unexpected touches that came with being a fine dining diner, most notably the bread (served warm) being served with hummus and a pimento cream cheese spread. My second trip was for breakfast several weeks later (I’m not from the area) . The Hash Brown Heaven is delicious and enormous (maybe too big, but that was fine with me as I had a full day ahead). The service was slower this time, but satisfactorily quick. They did appear to be slightly short on wait-staff for breakfast, which was in contrast to dinner service, but nothing so bad as to detract from the experience. I would go again and again if I were local to the area.

Best Food Around, Great Service. I stop here at least twice a week for breakfast and always get helped right away. I usually get a great egg sandwich with their homemade sausage and I’m never disappointed. My wife and I eat dinner there at least one night on the weekend and the only time anything has been slow is because they are making our dinner from scratch. I’d rather wait a few minutes for really good food than get something mediocre really fast! Besides, we always get a plate of warm bread and some delicious hummus as soon as we sit down. This is the place I bring my family for brunch when they come to visit for the weekend. Donna’s corn and oat bran pancakes are an experience not to be missed and my wife loves the scrambles with vegetables. My mother-in-law had a special with pulled pork that she is still raving about.

Flavorful and Seasonal Specials. Yum! Delicious lunch and dinner specials with portions just the right size to fill you up but not make you waddle out – my favorite(s)…Hanger steaks and burgers cooked meduim rare (really!) , the best goat cheese in salads from goats less than two miles away from the Cafe, fresh soups that taste like home and the best bread and butterscotch pudding ever…lots of gluten free choices for my friends…The Hudson Street Cafe has been open for less than a year yet the menu has changed with each season while retaining or updating favorites to use the ripest and freshest ingredients. Cute dining under an awning on an old fashioned main street and friendly service…the CIA chef/owner comes to your table to be sure you are well satisfied…Yum!
