This has to be my favorite lunchtime hangout of all places in the area when I’m craving some different ttpes of Greek food. My neighbor alerted me and was raving about the foods. The first time I went I ordered my standard spanakopita – outstanding! Then I expanded into the bowl arena (those that know this place know what I’m talking about). The Athena bowl had me at the insanely delicious sauce! Incredible! My other visits concentrated on the desserts that are homemade. The baklava is one of the best, however, there’s another dessert in competition – baklava cheesecake. A few words of caution – if you want they’re mom’s homemade baklava cheesecake, you better get there the night before! THANK YOU MOM! I’m not really a fan of cheesecake but it piqued my interest. It’s the ONLY cheesecake I like – now that’s saying something!
