I don’t like writing anything negative since my sister’s in-laws had a restaurant for 40 years until they retired. I know how hard you have to work in that business. Let me say that I was there with someone familiar with the regional cuisine and she said it was ok. Not terrible but not outstanding. For me never having this region’s food I liked it but I really had nothing to compare it to. The restaurant is adorable and the staff VERY friendly. If you’re reading this and are familiar with the regional foods, don’t read my review and take it to heart that you shouldn’t go. Please go and make up your own mind.

Was not happy with the food. Went to Zoilas two weeks ago and was very disappointed with the food but I thought I give it a second chance because sometimes things happen. I went back again and was very sorry I did…the food was worse than it was the first time.I was given burnt plantains and the Latin platter was different than it was the first time. My pork was so salty I could not eat it, took it home and through it away. I should have known when I went two times and there was not anyone in the restaurant. That was a clue…never again. Waste of money.

Owner. Everything I’ve tried in my 4 visits have been awesome. Chef Zoila adds the Latin-American touch that just cannot be duplicated in a chain restaurant. Chef Todd creates a depth of flavor with his herbs that is so rare these days. I recommend it!! ****
