The debut was very enjoyable with 10 or 11 participants and we really enjoyed their performances.As to the Caf the food is not our style.There is live Jazz on Friday and Saturday nights and we might stop by for a glass of wine.
Bean Runner Cafe is the Best. Nestled in the hills of the beautiful Hudson Valley is a quaint little town called Peekskill, New York. In this historic downtown area you will find a unique establishment called the Bean Runner Caf. The dcor, atmosphere and music are reminiscent of the popular progressive coffee houses of the late fifties and early sixties that flourished throughout the United States.Last weekend I had the occasion to visit this landmark, eat dinner and listen to the live music provided. The food was out of this world, the music was fantastic and the atmosphere, to say the least, was very romantic. My dinner included a gourmet style sandwich called the Pantheon Run, a few glasses of Merlot wine and then topped off my night with a unique specialty espresso made with Barbera Italian Coffee. I was somewhat surprised as to the wide range of ages of the customers. There were people in their early 20s to, like some of my friends call me, in my twilight years, all enjoying the food, atmosphere and music.This is definitely a place you do not want to miss but in order to not be disappointed, call ahead for reservations especially on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. I enjoyed this place so much, that I returned for breakfast on the 4th of July before the parade passed down Division St.This place definitely deserves a Five Star rating.Bud DunklinSafety Harbor, FL

Excellent Atmosphere. I think it is about time that we have a nice cafe in Peekskill that will cater to all walks of life and deals in all Genres of live music and more. There art displays are magnificent and they change time to time so that I get a different taste not only from the food and music but from the walls themselves, lol. I love to bring my kids down there and they can play in the huge Mini BeanRunner Cafe Just for the kids with toy, padded floor and more. The prices are reasonable when you consider the Food and beverage are great and I would also like to think that the atmosphere is part of the fee. It is very comfortable. I watch t.v there on ther flat screen, or bring my laptop, or just enjoy conversation with other friendly and satisfied patrons. That it is owned by two locals is all the more better. I LOVE THE BEAN RUNNER. ps. The staff is incredibly pleasant.
Nice ambiance/food. This is a nice new hangout place for families, especially those who have children (they have a separate spacious kids’ playroom!!) or love nice ambiance with good food and wifi access. Their coffee is as good as Starbucks’ and soups are delicious. They told me that also have live Jazz music on Friday and Sunday evenings
