Good Typical Dominican Food. Boca Chica serves comestibles that are typical of the Boca Chica locality, Santo Domingo, and the Dominican Republic. Boca Chica features seafood but land proteins are readily available for selection. Prices are gentle on the wallet and portions are generous. Breakfast, lunch,and dinner are served each day. Breakfast has that Dominican staple, mangu (mashed plantains), as an option. Lunch and dinner choices include the Cubano, mofongo, and paella. There are food selections available at the steam counter or prepared to order. The restaurant is clean. The waitstaff is accommodating and gracious. The platters that I have sampled, bacalao and gallina guisada, are flavorful enough and satisfying. Be adventurous in your dining at Boca Chica, then relax with an espresso and dessert at meal’s end.
