Just okay.I really wanted to like this place because the service was on point. As the name hints at, their food are made SPICY but the tasty part needs work. Before I even got my food/ tasted my food there were a group of folks eating fish to the right of me complaining about the taste of the fish. I had hope that it only was for the fish.I ordered the Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($6.95) and the Mapo Tofu (forgot the price). The spicy beef stew noodle soup was okay. It was great on the spicy level as the runny nose would indicate but the taste was still just okay. The sad part of the meal was the Mapo Tofu. Again, the spicy level was perfect but the flavors were off by a mile. I took maybe 3 or 4 bites of it and I was done with it. A bowl of rice for that Mapo Tofu had to be requested and did not come with the Mapo Tofu upon presentation. Great…I was going to try their Dan Dan Noodles if their Mapo Tofu have been decent but it just didn’t do it for me. I would give them another shot but only if I’m in the area and only for the Dan Dan Noodles that people also raved about.Semi-FAN.

Addicted!. The food is so good I crave it all the time. My boyfriend lives in flushing and we have tried a lot of the Chinese Restaurants in the area, Spicy and Tasty is the most unique place. First off only eat there if you enjoy spicy food, if not your choices are limited and you wont fully enjoy the place. This is a place where I have never had a bad meal and the people there are super nice. My recommendations are the Crabs in Spicy Sauce, Cold Jelly Chengdu style, Bamboo in Spicy Sauce, and Shrimp with Green Peppers. If your feeling adventurous try the Beef Stomach with Chinese Mushrooms you will not be disappointed.

Dog Food Much?. The chicken chow fun hasn’t been a very fun experience. It is well overcooked and I’m fairly certain they forgot to put chicken in it. The chicken w/ basil and triple sauce has a delicious flavor but this def isn’t chicken (DOG! what else could it be). There are no been sprouts in the chicken with bean sprouts. Ohh and the dumplings, well, let’s just say dog meat again and leave it with that. Awful, awful food. Don’t go here unless maybe you enjoy overcooked noodles with dog meat. But hey, at least they got the white rice right.

Love the Spice!. I had forgotten how much I like Sichuan Food!Love the tongue numbness caused by the Sichuan Peppercorns.A must stop on the Prince St. Flushing Cheap Eats Tour. Which I think would also include Sifu Chio, Nan Xiang, Happy Beef Noodle House, Sunway and White Bear with a quick detour to Xi’an Famous Foods.
