While the food is good, who you get as a server can make all the difference. Michael spoiled the whole party and people at our table where thoroughly disappointed by the attitude he exudes – sarcastic, rude, know-it-all, and snarky. You will hear him boast as being all about hospitality – as if defending what he is trying to aspire to but does not embody at all. It turns out other reviewers served by Michael expressed their concerns and dissatisfaction too. I wonder why such an attitude is permitted at this reputable restaurant.
Uncle Jack’s Steakhouse is just a short walk from my work, so I try to go there often….the food is scrumptious! Their new lunch, brunch, breakfast cocktail, and sushi menus are full of great choices. Just the other day, I ordered the Surf and Turf–aged NY strip, scallion, asparagus, and steak sauce–YUM!! The meal left me mouth-watering, but I was so full I couldn’t eat another thing! The service and atmosphere were stellar, as well. I highly recommend it.
Grentastic, and they had a great wine selecat Steaks.. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews, this place is great. The porter house steak was fantastic and they had a great wine selection as well. I highly recommend it.

Great Steaks. Uncle Jacks is indeed a great steakhouse. The porter house was excellent and cooked to perfection. The only down side was that our server was a little to attentive, every time I started a conversations with my friend he would interrupt, suggesting something or asking what more we needed. This steakhouse is very pricey, so except to pay!
Best Steaks in NY. I can’t speak for the other locations, but Jack’s in Bayside is one of the better steakhouses in the city. The steaks are great, but more surprisingly are how well the other dishes are executed. You will not find a better salads or well prepared and fresh seafood delivered on such a consistent basis anywhere else. Try the lollipop chops and you’ll be hooked.
I loved Uncle Jacks. Expensive, yet has great food!
