Waitress/food. I have been to this Diner many times,but this time was not a good experience. My Grand-daughter & I were seated by a not so friendly greeter, then waited up to 15 minutes to have a waitress come to us. My Grand-daughter was addressed as Sir. Just because someone has short hair & maybe you are not quit sure, don’t you think you should just say something like (what can I get for you?) Also Miss should be addressed to an adult not Mam. All in all my grand-daughter’s food was not hot & the waitress was not good. Very inexperienced. Also to busy talking with people she know that she was waiting on. She didn’t have a clue. Her name was Jackie. This diner is not the same. I liked the other waitresses you had. I will stick with 76 Diner in Latham. Very good people up there.
The food is pretty typical diner food. It has been hit and miss and depends on what we order. Once I went and what I ordered was good. Another time I hated what I ordered and didn’t eat it. Another time it was okay. The crab was disappointing, because it was imitation crab, but that wasn’t made clear on the menu. There are other diners that are better, but if you are in the area and want affordable food and a big selection this is a good stop. Don’t go here if you are in a hurry though, I have never gotten a fast meal here.
