Best fish fry I have had in years. It’s a classy place with top notch service. You will not be disappointed.
Great atmosphere, delicious food!. My husband and I were visiting Rochester, staying at a B&B. We chose this restaurant after reading positive reviews. The service, staff, and food were fantastic! The owner told us how it has been opened for 50 yrs. It was passed down from his grandpa, to his father, then to him. If you should decide to try this restaurant, I doubt you will be disappointed!
6 out of 7of us, excellent meal. We ate here as a family, special occasion. Our kids are teenagers who can eat a great deal. The waiter was excellent and very helpful with recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their meal except I would stay away from the special of the night. My fish was on the dry side but I did request it with a non spicey topping. So stay with the menu and you should have a nice meal.
The prime rib and chicken french were very good and the portions with a side are a good size. Definitely will return.
Good food, good staff, valet parking.. Ate here once. Good food, excellent wait staff, valet parking, older crowd, nice little bar. What I liked best was that I could order a good spinach salad before dinner and they bring all the fixings to the table so you can help yourself (dressing, croutons, bacon bits, etc). I will eat here again.
Veal or Liver. Either one you’ll fair well. Only valet parking unless you find another place to park and walk, so bring some cash for valet. Older crowd, but friendly and attentive staff.
Awesome. Filet mignon is the signature dish.
