SUNDAY BRUNCH. EIght of us arrived at Max at 1pm and our table was ready as promised.We were served delicious, hot popovers with butter and jam along with ice water and our beverage of choice. A few of our favorite menu items werenot available and this was disappointing. Standouts we tried were the Grand Marnier French Toast and the Zucchini Waffles. We were also very pleased with our waiter, Shane, who was responsive to our many requests for refillsand extras. Following the lovely brunch, he gave us a little tour of therestaurant and explained its history involving the UofR. Both the food and the ambiance at Max at the Gallery were exceptional, and it was a nice respitefrom the weary worrisome world news of this past week.
