  WARNING! Contact the police if you have been a victum of double billing /credit/IDFraud! Formerly Merchants Pasta. We have eaten here several times but never again! The waiter billed us the 69 dollars for meal and tip.Two weeks later we got our bank statement that showed the guy also billed us 80 dollars for no reason.Thats 149 bucks for two meals with no drinks? Wow. The waiter added some extra to his tip! My wife tried to get them to get this fixed but they were evasive and weeks went by before they finally did refund us. For quite a while they avoided and refused to give us our money they illegally took. They also said they would make it up so we hoped it had been a simple mistake then, but when we came in they offered no discount or anything but the cook said he paid some tip to his waiter from this fiasco already so we owed him 20 dollars back which we knew was wrong. His math is way off. My wife is a math teacher,so nothing gets by her. But for some reason they were acting funny and I had felt funny that night they ripped us off as if something was telling me there was some kind of criminal activity there but what it was,I couldn’t put my finger on. Still wondering what,so I am filing a report with the FBI as soon as there office is open Monday morning. If anyone has had a similar occurrence it may be no accident as I suspect. Be careful. I got this gut feeling there is something criminal at the former Merchants pasta house. I wouldn’t go there again thats for sure and I’m scared they stole credit info to be used later. Yep,I calling The FBI! they said call the secret service.I did.They said to call the local police and I did.

  Great food, great experience. Eat here, you can thank me later. A warm, intimate atmosphere evokes a classic sense of rustic Italy and the food is absolutely fantastic.There are of course the staple fixed menu items (I highly recommend the Spaghetti al Limone) but the real allure of Porcini are the rotating daily specials which include homemade pastas crafted into a series of dishes that will have everyone at the table insisting their dish was the one not to be missed. Even the simplest components of your meal will leave a great impression from the basket of warm bread to the fresh tang of their simple yet delicious house salad dressing. The service is impeccable and the owner, Tony is a personable character whose presence in the dining room only adds to the charm.I can’t wait to go back. Maybe I’ll see you there.
