A great dining experience.. Going to a restaurant for a first visit, especially on a special occasion (my wife’s birthday), always makes one apprehensive. This was definitely a memorable experience. The atmosphere leans to the urban hipster crowd which is not a detriment. We were seated promptly upon arrival and the service throughout the meal was great, attentive but not hovering. My wife and I split an appetizer of Chicken fried oysters that were large, delicately battered and perfectly cooked. Again we split an arugula salad with beets, apples and candied pecans which was crisp and not overly dressed. Entrees arrived without any wait. My wife greatly enjoyed the duck breast over cheesy grits cooked perfectly, while I had the roasted chicken with foie gras glazed brussels sprouts, again cooked just right. Along with our wine selections, the meal and service were without flaw. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert, so this will have to be rectified on our next visit.

Have no idea why they have a low % rating when just about every review I read below loved it here. I’m a tough reviewer and there isn’t a thing I could say that needs improvement. Will try dinner there soon but as far as brunch – best in Rochester.
Overpriced, loud and worst of all -very average food. What a waste of money. pretentious with very average food. you would be better off at Red Lobster, and that in itself is troubling.And, what’s with the glass floor as you walk in. The people downstairs have a great view of your underwear!What we they thinking?
My husband and I just got back from revelry for our anniversary dinner. Everything was amazing from start to finish. The service is excellent and the food is just as good. Great ambiance inside and out. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautful Food that tastes even better than it looks!. This was easily one of the tastiest meals I have had. I read some complaints about price, they are way off base. The food quality is topnotch and priced very fairly. From the Crudo, to the Panna Cotta, and everything in between, my meal was fabulous.
Great service. Nice ambiance and patio, despite location on busy street… Rather surprising. The menu is local, innovative, and unique. Beet Deviled eggs were phenomenal as an appetizer. Panna Cotta dessert was spectacular. Great wine selection, and cocktails. Roasted watermelon appetizer was delicious. We will return!
