Poor quality food. Went there with my wife, We sat near the brick oven even though the place wasn’t too busy and there were plenty of tables . My back was burning from the heat. Ordered the pasta siciliano, the eggplant was hard and there were hard mozzarella balls melted on top, too much garlic. My wife got chicken parm which was tough and swimming in red sauce. She ordered veggies which had too much butter on it. We were very disappointed, won’t be back. Don’t know how this place stays in business.

I would rather go to a pizza place to get pizza and an Italian restaurant for a nice meal. Problem is they’re trying to combine the two and it ISN’T WORKING. The place has ZERO atmosphere inside, the tables are on top of each other and you have to pour your own water. VERY NOISY! Got a headache. The service is slow, food cold , but the wait staff will swarm around you like sharks to take your plate away, while your still eating.Proper etiquette is to wait until all parties at the table are completely finished and then to remove all the plates. Waitress dropped a drink after that she never checked back with the table to see how everything was or if we needed everything or another drink. If you want good food and service try another place!
Terrible food. We keep giving this place a chance, but forget it. This place sucks, in every way,no way to get around it. You can’t eat in, it’s way too noisy, and if you want to have a nice meal with your spouse or freinds, forget it, herds of families come in for the pizza and you’ll be listening to screaming kids the whole night. Service is slow to get drinks and food, but very quick to grab your dish when the last bite is still in your mouth. Wine tastes watered down too. About the food, I don’t know where to begin, it’s just bad, everything,, chicken is like rubber and bad quality, eggplant is tough and The pizza is like cardboard, pasta sucks, salad is wilted. No more chances for this glorified pizza joint which is WAY OVERPRICED! Maybe if it was the last restaurant in town. We have lived here for 15 years and this place has changed hands 3 times, I think it’s time to change again.
I thought this place was great! I tried the pizza, yum- and some of the penne ala vodka- delicious! Get there before 5:30 to avoid the crowds if you don’t have a reservation. Great food. Big servings. The acoustics aren’t so great in the place but otherwise I’d say its awesome!
If over age 10, stay away. Despite the fancy outside, Italiana’s has all the ambiance of a child’s birthday party at a bowling alley (actually a bowling alley would be quieter) . Tables are one on top of another and I have had quieter (and more enjoyable) meals on an artillery range. Expect to see them on an upcoming episode of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares
