Not good, folks. We were excited to try Lulu’s, wanting to add a new eatery to our go-to list. Our group of eight went for dinner on a Saturday. The dcor is throwback style; aprons hang on the wall, cute stenciling along a chair rail, an old-fashioned coat rack – all cute, but add countless hearts, lights and flowery junk and the result looks dusty and unkempt. The restroom was filthy – always a bad sign. We were very disappointed in the food, which sounded tempting from the menu descriptions. The veggie burger tasted like it was in the freezer for a few years. Turkey burgers were dry and tasteless, American in Paris the same. Two of the men had chili and were unimpressed. The salad was unlike any I’ve had with too-large pieces of lettuce and teeny, tiny diced tomatoes and squash. They must prepare a dozen salads with the same tomato! The raspberry dressing was tasty but the seeds were not removed as most good restaurants will do. The sweet potato fries were limp and tough. The iced tea was the worst I have ever had. The only things we liked were the onion rings and fries and both are probably purchased frozen by the restaurant. The service was also unimpressive, although they did get the orders all correct. Maybe they are better for brunch, but we won’t be back. In fact, we went somewhere else for dessert.

Very good restaurant. Has many types of foods varying from soups to sandwiches to salads. Plus the desserts are fantastic. But the room where you eat has a bueatiful dcor. This place is definetly worth the trip.
