  Some Of The Best In Rockland. I stumbled upon New City Pizza last year as the part time job I had was in that shopping center. The place is a typical pizza parlor inside, but the pizza sets itself a part from all of the rest. The people who work the counter are always very friendly.I’ve only eaten pizza from this place though I wish to try their sandwiches someday. First off, their pizza is fresh and some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in New York. They have the best and I mean the BEST chicken, bacon, ranch slice I’ve ever tasted anywhere followed by their fresh mozzarella and tomato slice. The slices are large and if you get a specialty slice, the toppings are plentiful. The only real issue with this place is the price for a specialty slice. I pay $4.00 for a slice of the chicken, bacon, ranch. But than again, for pizza this good, I would pay $10 a slice! It’s really that great.Overall, New City Pizza gets a solid 5/5 because their pizza is just incredible and some of the best specialty pizza around along with their perfect crust. Order the chicken, bacon, ranch slice or the fresh mozzarella and tomato and I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.

  Traveling in from Texas, only a quick chance for some north east style pizza. Stopped in to this 40 yr old joint. Hole in the wall on fri night. Some kids are in. Real local flare. Pizza is good! 8.65 for a loaded veggie and a pepperoni + a very small root beer. Of course freshly baked! Owner slapped some pepperonis on a cheese stuffed it in an oven – pizza delight!
