I love hot dogs and I love this place. The Dog House offers lots of things besides hot dogs, but I dont care. Today I tried a NY Dog and something called a Porky Pig. What visit to NY would be complete without having a NY Dog, and they did it up right. OK, so I did not get it from a street vendor, this place was more comfortable anyway. The Porky Pig is a dog with bacon, cheese, and some raw onions. Also excellent. I particularly liked the soft bread they use.The staff was friendly and it appeared to be a regular stop for some of the customers. There are a dozen or so booths and tables, and close by parking. It is an order at the counter they bring the food out to you place. The dogs were reasonably quick in arriving and ready to eat.
