Authentic Italian. I have order many different items from Torino’s and have always been happy with the food. The sandwiches are both large and tasty, the catering is excellent, the fresh mozzarella is made fresh every day and the cold salads are always fresh and inviting.
Out of this world!. I have lived in orangetown for over 22 years and have been waiting for a deli of this caliber to come along. The italian fare is out of this world, the staff goes out of its way to make sure that your experiance is the best it can be. The variety of foods is out of this world, there are so many different choices that I sometimes spend extended periods of time looking in the case. I don’t know what Andrea is talking about, and obviously if the food was that bad there would be no reason to back the amount of times that she did. I recommend the Harlem if you like spicy meat, but the Torino’s special is out of this world. And don’t even get me started on the catering they do. They take care of you from beginning to end, the delivery guy will even set up your food for no extra charge. This is without a doubt one of the best delis in rockland.
Inconsistent. I have ordered several different items from this place, for every good experience I have 3 or 4 bad ones, even when ordering the same dish. The food is average at best, even the italian fare which, given that its an Italian deli, they should at least be able to do that well. The daily specials never really vary and don’t seem all that special. The food is hit or miss and in this area there are plenty of better options for lunch.
