Great service, reasonably priced. We had our shower here and the food was great, service was top notch and they were very efficient at getting back to us with the details, etc. We almost had our event at another Westchester restaurant, but the manager made things run very smoothly. Thanks, Chat!
The prices on the menu were lower than the bill when I brought that to the attention of the server he was smirking And made a lame excuse check your bill
Chat is delicious. a small menu but something for everyone. just make sure you have a bit of cash!
This was the 3rd time I’ve been to Chat for lunch ( I’ve only been for lunch ) and every time I have had a great meal with great service . It’s not a cheap lunch but it isn’t over the top given the quality of the lunch.
CHAT….is OK. Decided to check out CHAT in Scarsdale, NY last weekend. First, I’d like to point out that I was a little skepticle because the other location in Larchmont didn’t do it for me 3 years ago.We asked for outside dining which looked fun but was way to cramped once we sat outside. The wait staff was about a 4 on a scale from 1-10. Yes they kept the water filled, but every time we asked the waiter for something he walked away as he was listening. For this location you’d think the staff would be above PAR. Actually, service should be above PAR everywhere.The food:I ordered the lobster tacos for an appeitizer. As it had a good flavor I was missing the actual lobster.For my main course I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon. It was great! The portion size was good and the sauce was amazing.For dessert, I forget the name, we ordered this fried pastry one was chocolate and one was stuffed with a sort of banana cream. That made the entire trip worth it.I think they really need to concentrate on their wait staff. Especially on a Friday evening when it’s the busiest things should run smoother. Not to mention we were near the door and all I kept hearing was plates and glasses clanking about.
Pleasant Experience. Great food at a decent price. The best possible location. Placed right in the heart of beautiful Scarsdale, and in a brand new apartment development. The nicest part is sitting outside on a warm summer evening. Just what Scarsdale needed. A hip chic bistro with lots of flare.
