No pretentions allowed. You want a saloon? You get one. There are noshes available, but most who come here are regulars, of folk looking to have a drink in a real ‘joint.’ Before General Electric sealed off the ‘subway’ entrance to the plant (right in front of the place) this was where the factory workers scrambled to get their two quarts of beer lunch. Forever their dress code has been that, if you earned your money in those clothes, you could spend it in those clothes.
