Worth a visit.. We Friday takeout of dinner and so far we have had the Chicken Parm sub, Chipotle BBQ chicken sub, and cheese pizza and all were very good. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Although I make pizza every Friday night, I like to try someone elses at least once a month. Since moving back here in ’06, all the places we used to like either are gone or they changed for the worse. We tried every new place that opened up in hopes of finding a decent pie and fool and now we found one. Hey guys, please don’t change. i am replacing all the other pizza places with Downtown Pizza in my speed dial.

Addendum. In response to my menu choice of soup and fish fry, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect edible food for a $10 lunch tab. My curly haired lunch companion DID order pizza slices. She got warmed up slices, and after biting into her pizza noticed a crunchy texture. She looked on the bottom of her slice and it was loaded with some hard black pieces of some unknown substance. A dirty pizza oven? bugs? Who knows, but the slices joined my uneaten lunch in the trashcan.15 Jan, 2011BARF!!!. The worst place ever! I’ve had vomit taste better than this stuff they try to pass off as food. Chicken noodle soup-at a whopping 3 bucks for 8oz, was full of white translucent chunks floating in a cloudy, brownish, thick mass that was so salty it couldn’t be eaten. The fish fry was something that a feral cat would walk away from, beautifully presented on a stale hotdog roll. Nightmarish food at nightmarish prices. This lunch cost over 10 bucks! Yeeeechhhh-say far away.
