Huge portions, but huge portions of mediocre food is still mediocre. Hastily prepared food, canned ingredients, jalepeno peppers to spice up sauce? Server was not attentive. Let glasses remain empty and brought out a vegetarian ordered dish with chicken in it. Spongy pasta and charges an extra $3 for fresh pasta but I couldn’t tell a difference. Skip this place. Better food for less money is to be had elsewhere.

Had reservations for 4:30 was seated and placed our orders fine given our drinks and meal so far so good My wife ordered the veal Marsala I ordered the Steak Mafioso My wifes veal was not properly cooked she gave me a taste it was medium rare and old tasting my steak was filled with grizzel and fat 3/4’s of it could not eat. This other waitress came over to our table after 5 minutes of starting to eat and tried to take my plate. I told her I just started she tried to do the same thing to my wife. She came back 2 more times the third time I said to box this up I don’t think my dog will even eat this. I talked to the original waitress and all she said was she was new There was a black couple opposite us getting the same treatment. I left biting my lip as not to start any trouble My wife talked to the owner who said well she was new give her a break NO YOU DUMB &^%^&&**^%^% Give me a Break I should have walked out of the place been there quite a few times before never treated like this before.All in All I will never be back called the next day and talked to the owner all in all they said sorry. They lost my business My wife is from the Bronx A petite full Italian I never heard her curse before but she let loose in Italian to the owner and everyone in ears distance and all the way home. They used to be good now their Garbage. Garbage meat and lousy cooks
Italian home fries. The Italian home fries are delicious, they have a nice kick to them. I also enjoyed the tiramisu.
Great, gigantic grilled panini sandwiches made with tomato pie slices–so large you have to share. Excellent Italian wedding soup.
*food is the BEST* my phone autocorrected my last review.22 Jan, 2012Absolutly AMAZING. Best food in Schenectady. Portions are huge, often find ourselves leaving with take home boxes. The atmosphere is great, the people the nicest, and again the food is the BEAT you will have!
