This is my 2nd time here for their Wednesday special of $5 burgers. 1st time it was great not so this time. Had a party of 3, we were ask if we had a reservation, we did not. We were left standing at the top of the stairs for about 5 minutes when they had 4-5 empty tables. Once we were seated the next people who came were told to sit where ever they liked. I got the buffalo shrimp for an app, very good and I was surprised on how many shrimp. Friends got corn chowder and chicken noodle, ok but nothing to go back for. Now the burgers, well let’s just say they weren’t even worth the $5. Cooked to order? Yes. Came out as described? No. I got the melt, I’m not really sure it had the onions on it. Friend got the Manhattan burger with cheese, um lack of cheese really and other friend got the Danish burger which had the same problem. Yes they were cheap but they lacked flavor and even poorer quality than a fast food chain. A big disappointment from my previous encounter.
Terrible. Today is the first and last time I will purchase from The Manhattan Exchange. A few colleagues and I ordered burgers today and the burgers that should have been well-done were all rare. Come on, how difficult is it to cook a burger correctly? And when we called to advise what happened, Manhattan exchange offered nothing to make up for it. They said it was our problem not theirs, they would not offer any kind of replacement or coupon or even an apology. The waitress or whoever answered the phone said we could bring the burgers back and they would throw them back on the grill for us and that’s the best she could do. (I work in a huge office and I don’t have the ability to leave my department on a whim just to bring a burger back, that defeats the whole purpose of delivery!) That was the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. It’s very obvious this business cares only about itself and does not give a damn about its customers. I know they have been here for many years so I figure, they are fine w/out the patronage of our office, we will not make or break them so why should they give a crap about our order. SCREW YOU Manhattan Exchange, I say that because that is obviously how you feel about me and my colleagues. I will tell everyone about my experience and will give a bad rating at every restaurant review site I can find. I USED to go there after hours for a few nightcaps, but I won’t even do that.

Excellent food and always a wonderful atmosphere at the bar. Daytime bartender is the nicest person in the world.
A great place to hang out with friends or by yourself. You will always find someone to converse with. It’s also a great place to eat. Great dinners & great pub food.
