Stopped by on a rainy Friday night – things were pretty slow, only a couple tables occupied. The steak sandwich and the fries I got were good although not noteworthy. The salad ordered was fresh. We didn’t have any issues with cleanliness or anything like that. The one problem we had was that the soft drinks weren’t calibrated correctly. The iced tea was extremely week and then the replacement lemonade was off as well. Aside from getting the machine straightened out everything seems fine.
Food was good a step up from steak-umms, but place mats had dried steak and sauce stuck to them ( their paper place mats with company adds on them their ment to be thrown out) saw owner scratch off dried food and put on different table. Also when employees went out for a smoke break they stood in the doorway out back and you could smell the smoke in the restaurant. I will never go back.

Bring Philadelphia on!. This has been Schenectady’s answer to the Philadelphia Steak sandwich for decades, and is it ever. The menu is smaller than you might expect but actually exactly the right size. They have a little bit of everything, but if you want a true, keep your feet back and wear a bib steak sandwich, this is the place. And the wait-staff are great.
This is one of those hidden gems of Schenectady . Super friendly super food.
