Food & pricing. We went to eat at Perecca’s, what we wanted wasn’t on the dinner menu, eggs in purgatory we asked the waiter if we could order them, they said yes, the price for breakfast is 6,50 when we received the bill they charged us 15.00 highway robbery. Never going back dishonest!
Bread is fantastic. Food is not bad. The service is terrible. Consistently rude employees that act like they are annoyed that they have to wait on you. Ate their recently. 30 mins waiting to place our order. 30 mins waiting for our food. Waited another 15 mins for the waitress to bring the check. She did find time to come over and explain why the food took so long- but still failed to bring the check. We got tired of waiting and paid the check at the counter. She didn’t notice because she decided to take someone’s order. As we were walking to the parking lot she came running after us to pay our bill. Terrible service!!!!!!

Best bread around. I knew a guy who lived in Menands and had someone bring him this bread all the way from Schenectady. Seemed so crazy to me that I had to try it. I have to say, its the best fresh old fashioned bread I’ve had in the capital district so far.
It’s not just a bakery. Since their expansion, Perreca’s is now a full fledged eating place, including a pizza shop.As they have a daily menu, I can only speak to Thursdays, and I’ll speak well of it. The four of us tried four different entrees, and all came away pleased, including Paul who rarely eats at noon. the service was more than appropriate, the place was properly noisy, and the food was great. We’ll be trying other days of the week very soon.
Amazing bakery, also a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Noodles cooked perfectly and delicious pasta sauce!
