Awesome Happy Hour. Great great great happy hour specials. Sometimes difficult to get seating at the bar (where the happy hour specials are applicable) but totally worth it. Love the hot and mild salsas they serve with their chips. Bartenders can be a bit slow at times but they are generally nice and friendly.
Great food!. We went to Cantina Laredo at Destiny USA with a large group recently (June 2013), and the food was great. I got the veggie enchilada, and when my plate came, I was wondering how I was going to eat it all. Everyone else was pleased as well. We also loved the guac, as it was made in front of us. The chips were even fresh. The staff was very friendly, too. I can’t wait to go back. P.S. And…they took reservations while Toby Keith’s didn’t. We also decided not to go to Toby Keith’s because of the scathing reviews regarding the food, the cost, and a Hooters-style atmosphere.

Discrimination there. I am a lawyer and I frequent the restaurant in proximity to my work and I became aware of the racism that exists there with Latinos, especially Cubans.Manager sixto treatment is different from the American peopleis not fair people
Not child or large party friendly!. Tried to go yesterday at 4:15 with a party of 15. Three families together, 6 adults with our total of our 9 children. Went early to avoid the dinner rush and trying to be respectful of others since we realize we did have a large party with a lot of children. We did not make it past the front desk. Said our party was too large, and they did not have the staff to support our table for at least 45 minutes. Manager then also turned us away. We offered to split our party. They said they only had two servers on and still could not accommodate us . Totally rude to both myself and then my husband who went up who could not believe what I had told him. Ended up eating at Toby Keith’s with no wait and had a great meal. I will not be returning even for an adult only meal.
Margaritas were watery. Food was pretty bland.
The service was decent. Waitress was attentive and pleasant, but some of the other staff gave a cool reception. The chips and salsa were good and probably the favorite part about my dinner. The enchiladas de queso were ok, but I have had better enchiladas at other restaurants. The rice was ok and the Refried beans were bland. My husband had the fajitas which nicely grilled but also lack seasoning. Overall it was ok but not a place I would frequent regularly.
