Ok the food is awesome and super tasty. We took the family plate and we had no leftover. The service was excellent. Everything was great food service and excellent food experience.
Order pork BBQ platter with mac & cheese and apple sauce (wanted fresh fruit but didn’t have any).Pork was very tasty. I ordered the platter because I didn’t want a roll, but the platter came with on a roll. Meat was tender and flavorful.Mac an cheese was good. Mac was a little undercooked. Had a bit of a crunch. The cheese was spicy. Someone people at the table didn’t like the Mac because of the spices. I enjoyed it.Apple sauce is hard to screw up.Service was decent. Food came out fast and the waitress was very attentive. They were a little short and to the point, but I’m starting to realize that might just be a Syracuse thing.
Just go. Don’t be overthinking this. Just go. Make sure you order Mac and Cheese as a side dish regardless of whatever you order. Be prepared to wait a little but I could care less. I’m there no matter what
Absolutely amazing. I usually order take-out because the dining room is always packed and I live 5 minutes away. Take-out is very, very speedy! LOVE the pulled pork, mac and cheese, and the brisket melts in your mouth. Be sure to save room for the sweet potato pie!
Wanted to love this place, but just can’t. Cool look and feel, but ultimately another tourist trap with only average BBQ. Chicken had decent smoke ring and flavor but both the pulled pork and to ribs were lacking. Specialty drinks were good with some kick but of course over priced. Go to say you went and for the good atmosphere but lower your expectations on the actual BBQ.
If you are ever in Syracuse this is a must go for any BBQ lover around. Fantastic atmosphere with even better food. Pulled pork was slow cooked to perfection fries were great and everything just seemed to fit together. Overall, best BBQ place I have ever been to.
