Great bar, chef did a great job on a special request combining the tuna app with a Cesar salad. Moneys worth and excellent dressing. Generous pours on the wines. I came when they first opened and since they are walking distance to the hotel I stay at its a great time. Engaging servers and jazz on Wednesdays. I’ll come again and bring a friend.
Love the spicy calamari. great service. beautiful environment to chill and chomp…..
Major LET-DOWN!. Ohhhh, Dolce Vita.I heard from my brother that the food was good the last time he went (over a year ago) so we decided to try it out.I went with four other people on a Friday evening, and there was ample seating. There were about five other parties there and perhaps only two people on floor staff. It took far too long for seating, and even longer to even get menus or water in our glasses! We were sitting there staring at each other waiting to even be acknowledged at all by the staff. The party the next table over had their menus, but actually got up and walked out because they weren’t being spoken to by the waiters. We finally ordered our beers, which were incredibly flat. The bread course was good, but we also ordered hummus and pita which seemed re-heated and very dry and stale! The menu offered a wide variety of options from around the world, so we each ordered something different. My meal came about 5 minutes after everyone else’s. I ordered the vegetable curry dish… it was a large pile of rice with a few steamed vegetables and very watery sauce on the side. More like a sub-par side dish than the incredible meal I was hoping for! When we got the bill, it came to ABOUT $140. A large price to pay for an overall disappointing experience…. I’ll NEVER GO BACK!
A nice lunch. We just ate here today, and it was a pleasant experience…we shared a starter of Sundried Tomato Hummus with whole wheat pita; the flavor of the hummus was nice, but it was served warm (well, most of it was warm; it was still cold in the middle…hmmm) and the pita was cold; unusual, but not awful. My husband had a Kobe Beef Burger and fries, which he loved; i tasted the fries and they were very very good. He also got a side salad that had a very pleasing vinegarette dressing. I had the Taste of Tuscany—-a very nice, filling risotto with grilled mushrooms and other veggies; very good, and a huge portion. The service was a bit laissez-faire, but acceptable, and the decor was congenial enough (I liked the twinkly blue lights on the ceiling). All in all, a 4/5, i think.
Great and fun place with attentive service. Excellent variety of foods! Good wine list. Very casual and relaxing. Perfect places alone, with friends or a date! Highly recommended.
A stunning surprise amidst the riff raff of Syracuse restaurants. Amazing food. Attentive service and a wonderfully paced meal before the show. Get out and support this incredible place! We need places like this!!!
