Terrible. Absolutely terrible ! For the price the food was terrible. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi and this was by far the worst ever. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

They get you in for the happy hour an then tell you there’s no room. Total nightmare. I’ll pay full price at Komachi where the fish is freshest
One of a kind in syracuse!. Koto Japanese steakhouse is one of a kind in Syracuse! I’m glad I stopped by this past Thursday. Knowledgeable and friendly staff I must say. I was impressed that my server knew her food and the types of wine without referring to her menu. She even offered me a sample of the Oroya wine which paired great with sushi! As i was looking over my shoulder it seemed like people sitting at the hibachi grill were having a great time. This place has high energy. I’m definitely bringing my friends in next time for hibachi!
Solid Food, Warm Service. I’ve been a regular at Koto for awhile now, having tried several other establishments in the area, and I’ve just been more comfortable eating here. The variety of food, from the sushi rolls to hot dishes, all the way to the full-on hibachi grill experience, for me always makes me think of this place when I have a craving. Sometimes, especially on weekends, the place gets very busy, so there is a bit of a wait. Always call ahead and ask how long the wait is before you drive over, or just show up early. I like the decor, and the hostess and staff are always doing their best to accommodate your need. The food is pretty good, I won’t say great, because you will have to pay more if you want Manhattan NYC restaurant quality.
