Went there for lunch today with my coworker and had the Awesome Burger. Not only was the burger absolutely delicious, but our server (wish I had gotten her name) was very friendly and her service was excellent. Will definitely return!
This place has good food priced very affordable. I called in an order for delivery and they had it to me 20 minutes later. The food was hot and the portions were large! Best breakfast sandwich I had in a while and the turkey sandwich was big enough to eat over a 2 day span! The lady who took my order was very nice as well. I will definitely be ordering from them again.
Generally good. Nick’s is a nice spot to have a diner-like breakfast or lunch. The food is generally good, although somewhat uneven. Usually, the food is super tasty, well-prepared, etc…while at other times, it’s barely mediocre. I haven’t seen any rhyme or reason to that – I think you just have to roll with it. Attention to take-out orders is dismal – it’s best to check your order before leaving the restaurant – they’re more often wrong than right.Thus far, this review sounds mostly negative, and I don’t mean for it to. Nick’s has a lot of great things going for it – huge, flavorful omelets, great soups and salads (with actual Romaine instead of that iceburg stuff), surprisingly good fried fish (on Fridays), and for the most part, great, friendly service. The good stuff outweighs the occasional subpar meal. If your first visit wasn’t all that great, definitely give it another chance.
