Ordered taco trio, catfish, shredded beef, and shrimp. Came for lunch at 12:45 and it was busy but not slammed. Wait staff was friendly and not hovering. Location is an amazing historic downtown building and it is open and spacious in the dining area. I sat at the bar for a change of pace and chatted with the bartender some. Food took 12 minutes to come out. Started with the shrimp. Holy toco magic goodness! Just spectacular! Moved on to beef. Seriously voodoo taco magic. The catfish did not disappoint! This is a must stop, worth the diversion off 90, will not miss next time I’m in the area, great place to e
I thought the food was amazing and reasonably priced. The waiter probably could have been a little more forthcoming about some of the menu items. The Habanero XXX sauce is exactly what you would think but if you aren’t into burning your palette out, read the ingredients carefully for each menu item, they sneak it in.
Stick to Alto. I came here with my fiance and ended up refusing to eat while she had her burrito. The waiter really didnt seem interested in me at all but what made me say no way to eating here was that they dont even have the famous queso that Alto Cinco has. on top of that they have less on the menu. why would I eat here when I can get better food and choices at Alto?
Doing well. The food was delicious the first time. Their spinach and kale is something great w the raisins and pine nuts. Our second time we had one small issue with a dish (delivery btw), and not only did the gracious owner make it right by refunding our money, she sent an excellent replacement dish with it! Hopefully they will experience the success of their sister restaurant because the food truly has potential!
