PRIME STEAK HOUSE Owner VERBALLY ABUSIVE to Employees. Manipulates tips of Employees by telling them what they have to do with their tips. Could care less about the customers complaints. Doesn’t supply employee with required paperwork of employment or allows employees to fill out own tax paperwork. Server’s have quit due to working conditions and verbal abuse. I was told via a text message I was let go when I inquired about schedule for this week at approximately 2PM today. Makes employees deal with him smoking a Cigar on Premises with others and in KITCHEN during working hours. PLUS I NEVER had a complaint from the guests and always great comments about my service. Went on a date night with hubby to Prime on a Friday evening. Not busy at all! Nice atmosphere. The food was actually pretty good. Husband had Cowboy Steak which was huge and the Prime Soup. I had King Salmon as entree and two big fresh shrimp topped with lobster and a white sauce as an app. It was all really good. Sides are served homestyle, so enough for two. Waitress was nice and attentive. Bill totaled a little over $100.
Not Impressed. Sorry.. but for a $150 bill for 2 people this place was not worth it at all… menu is ala’carte.. which is fine but when both of us order the veg you would think the waiter would let us know that 1 side is enough for 2.. especially when your paying $5 a piece for it.. also.. I had the surf/turf and there was absolute ZERO flavor to the meat..at $38 you would think that there would be some flavor infused into the meal.. VERY DISSAPPOINTED!!
Perfection. I recently visited Prime and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The steaks were cooked to our exact request. This restaurant is one that I will visit again in a heartbeat
Interesting place. I’ve only been for lunch, but the food tastes decent, and the decor is really, really cool – exposed brick, good music – a really nice vibe. The staff are really polite and eager to please. The burgers are sub-par, but other dishes and sides are relatively impressive and reasonably priced. The only downside is the owner, who lurks around, intimidates the staff, and stares down customers. He openly berates staff in front of customers, which I found very disconcerting and unprofessional. Kind of a buzzkill. Otherwise, this is a good place to check out.
PRIME MEAT?!? Def not prime, it taste like its in a vacuum sealed package. Our waitress was very demanding and didnt care for our liking. She even wore a jacket that had a manager on it which was confusing to us. Its in a great location but should be a different restaurant. Very Unhappy. Better steaks at the outback on erie blvd.
Disappointed. I was excited to try this place.. the building it’s in is beautiful as well as the inside. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very nice.. Unfortunately my dish was very bland. I had originally ordered the pesto pasta with shrimp… which they had apparently changed to shrimp scampi…? But I was fine with it. It looked great but the shrimp was like biting into a shrimp that tasted like water.. literally. It was unpleasantly wet and bland… and the pasta was completely overcooked.. Better off going elsewhere..
