RILEY’s. Stick with the beer and hang out for a while. Everything had an oil taste. Fry, fry, and pan flash fry…overpriced.
Man they make a nice drink.. Our meal came out on time and the food was tasty. I go out to taste the meal and Rileys has great taste an eclectic group nof people on staff and to top it off its at the base of schiller park-north side central. Always worth the investment.. Love it,
Local Hideout Great Food Potential. I learned one thing in the Navy. Find an Irish pub anywhere and you will have a good time. What I never expect to find in an Irish pub, is good food. This place seems surreal when it comes to food. I had the best duck breast I have ever had in my life. So delicious, I considered ordering another entree to take home for my lunch. The Green Salad with the marinated tomatos threw my tastebuds for a loop. I’ve never had them, so I was not prepared. The goat cheese was a nice balance to keep up with the intensity. We had a very attentive waiter who left no drink empty. A big plus in my book. Again, my waiter was very good, but smiles from a few of the other staff would go a long way to increasing some face value 😉
VERY UNFRIENDLY STAFF. The food is ok depending on the cook. The menu is different every night because they use leftovers to create the current menu and whatever they can find at the bottom of the freezer. The staff is the least friendly of any restaurant I have ever been in, especially that old blond that works the bar. Down right nasty at times. Some of the staff have worked there longer than God has been around and really need to move on or take some happy pills.
Great food and atmosphere. The food was great. They have a constantly changing nightly menu and a great standard bar menu. Real cozy corner bar. Make sure you get the Irish fries.
