Decent food. Being from India, I feel I can sometimes be harsh on Indian restaurants. My first experience with Samrat with not the best, I went to the lunch buffet, later in the afternoon and left very unsatisfied. After multiple repeat visits, I have say I am pleasently satisfied. The key is going to the lunch buffet early in the day. Especially around 11am when the food is first put out, it is very good.The naan is made well, chicken tikka slightly spicey with good texture. Other things like the samosas, paneer, and fried rice are also very good. I definately wouldn’t say they have the best Indian food in town, but it is good place to enjoy a lunch buffet.
The food at Samrat’s more than makes up for the lack of decor. Have always enjoyed their lunch buffet. A lot of Indian flavor for the $.
I really did not enjoy this restaurant. Their chicken tikka masala sauce tastes like tomato sauce out of a can.
Love this place. Love food. Owner always very nice restaurant not decorated to impress
Delicious. Samrat was my first expirence with Indian food and now I am hooked.
