What happened to an old favorite?. My husband were regulars for Sunday breakfast for years but kids and schedules made are visits less frequent. We had not been to the the diner since mid 2014 and I wish that was my last visit and I would always long to be able to remember the perfect breakfast and perfect service. What happened? Service, recipes, ingredients all haven been changed , for the worse. And prices went up, The breakfast plate was smaller and the home fries were lacking all the flavor that used to be a staple. They must of got a new rye bread supplier ..somewhere from down south because it wasn’t ny rye. Someone forgot to tell them you don’t play with rye bread. The old waitresses and bus girls were gone. So sad . They were replaced by servers who don’t just pour your coffee but wait for you to ask. My husband was disappointed by his coffee service I was sad that the old time service with a smile was gone. I Guess all Good things come to an end.
