JP Burgos. This small restaurant offers dishes typical of the Manta region of Ecuador. Most dishes use peanut butter sauce to enhance the flavor of the food. US Military personnel stationed in Manta would be very familiar with this cuisine. As expected the place resembles a bit of home, making it very popular with Ecuadorians and the locals. Good food at reasonable prices, the Biche (seafood soup), Casuela, and Ceviche are some of the highlights. It tastes like grandma’s cooking. Park on the side street (St Anns Ave) and enjoy, a little loud, a little different. Foodies will enjoy this.
