Pretty good, albeit pretty noisy as well. The burgers were above average and the fries were perfectly browned & crispy. Always good to have a quality burger option nearby. They have several beers on tap & by the bottle.
11/25/2015 When I last visited BurgerFi I said that I wanted to return to try either the Breakfast All Day Burger or the Twenty Eight Burger. Well Thanksgiving Eve seemed like as good a time as any, and at 6 pm it was virtually empty. While there wasnt any beer available on my last visit, today I had a choice of several. Ignoring the two run-of-the-mill taps, both of us chose the Saratoga IPA ($5.97/flimsy plastic cup pint) over the Rare Vos or Angry Orchard.I decided to save the Breakfast burger for another day and went with the Twenty Eight ($10.57). My wife chose a VegeFi Green Style ($6.97) and we shared a Large Fries ($4.37).The Twenty Eight is actually made from 28 day aged beef brisket that is ground and grilled then topped with Swiss and blue cheeses, lettuce, tomato, pickle, BurgeFi sauce and served on a potato bun. Two patties is the standard for all their burgers unless you opt to go the build your own route. I found the meat to have a nice flavor, and texture, it was not overcooked, and the combination of all the topping flavors (with possibly the exception of the sliced pickles) made this a very enjoyable burger. My wifes VegeFi Green Style is basically a single patty served without a bun and comes with white cheddar cheese between leaves of lettuce. I think they want you to pick it up wrapped in the lettuce, but my wife chose to tackle it with a plastic fork and knife. She liked the outer crispiness of the patty and said there was even some spiciness to the sauce. But she also said she still prefers Five Guys for both burgers and fries.Speaking of fries, I really enjoyed them. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and a nice flavor. I might have to do a Fries Crawl some day to see which I prefer of the four nearby contenders in Latham.BTW, I mentioned that we arrived at a time when the place was empty. Within 10 minutes, a large number of people came in and almost filled the restaurant. It was as if church had just got out. I didnt understand their use of the electronic pagers on the first day, and it seemed almost useless on this visit. We were asked to give a name when we ordered, were told we would be called to pick up our food at the counter, and were given a pager with a number on it. With the music blaring and all those people who arrived talking, there was no way we would hear our name if it was called out unless there was a public address system. We happened to notice a woman at the counter holding a tray of food saying something to the crowd. It turned out to be our order. As I picked up the not-active electronic pager from the table to return it, the pager began to buzz. It seems like after three months they should have had this nailed down. 8/12/2015 Not surprisingly, my 8:20 pm arrival on opening day at BurgerFi found the dining room almost filled and about 8 people in line waiting to order in front of me. The line moved rather quickly with two Order-Here stations open. A third station labeled as Pick Up may have been for take-out orders only, since each customer ahead of me who was eating-in, myself included, were given an electronic flashing unit with a number on it and instructions to place it in the grey area in the middle of the table. Staff members then brought orders to the table and retrieved the electronic thingy. The bottle of Boylan Creme soda that I ordered ($2.67) was given to me at the time that I paid, so I had that to sip on until my order arrived. The fellow who took my order, Michael, was polite and efficient, repeating my order to me to ensure that it was correct, and then making sure that I got a cold soda from the cooler and not a warm one that I was reaching for.About 16 minutes passed from the time I paid for my order and when it arrived at my table. That seemed reasonable considering how busy it was. There are a couple of TVs to watch if you choose to, but I dont recall being able to hear any audio from them.I wanted to try something that I hadnt yet read that other reviewers had ordered, so I decided on the Conflicted Burger ($7.47, 695 calories) in order to have the opportunity to taste both the beef patty and a veggie patty. This burger version has one of their standard natural angus patties, a veggie patty, both American and white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their BurgerFi sauce on their potato dough bun. I really enjoyed it. Both patties had a crispness on their outside and were thick enough to be able to actually taste their flavor with each bite. In fact, I enjoyed the flavor of the veggie patty enough that I would consider ordering an entire VegeFi Burger ($6.97, 520 calories) in the future, which comes on a multi-grain bun.I had seen comments from others that the burgers look small, and I have to say I agree. But when I picked up my burger, my first reaction was how hefty it felt. I did also order a regular sized portion of Onion Rings ($4.37, 650 calories). The combination of the rings and the burger was definitely filling for me. While there were only five (5) rings in that regular order, these rings were so large (how large were they?), they were so large that not only were they very filling, but I could have fit my burger inside any of three of them.Im certain to return to try a couple more things, like the Breakfast All Day Burger ($7.67, 730 calories) and The Twenty-Eight burger ($10.57, 650 calories) which is made with 28-day dry-aged ground brisket. And of course the next trip will include a draft beer.
